Assoc Prof Peace Wong Yuh Ju

Associate Professor

A/P Peace Wong Yuh Ju is an Associate Professor in the NUS Department of Social Work. She teaches practice modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and specialises in social work supervision, youth work, and field education. She holds a PhD from NUS (2014) and is a member of the NUS Teaching Academy.

Before joining NUS, she worked in government and social service agencies in management, direct practice, and research focused on children, youths, and families. She actively contributes to the community through various boards and committees with MSF, SHINE Children & Youth Services, Counselling & Care Centre, SASW, Fei Yue Community Services, and a primary school. She is also involved in consultancy work in research, curriculum development, and supervision, and promotes social work supervision through writing, teaching, and seminars.

A passionate educator, she hopes to inspire curiosity in her students. She enjoys nature, music, cooking, reading, travelling, and hiking at Bukit Timah Hill.
