Assoc Prof Heng Cheng Suang

Assoc Prof Heng Cheng Suang is the College Master of Acacia College, NUS’s newest residential college focused on artificial and human intelligences. He is a Associate Professor at the Department of Information Systems and Analytics, NUS School of Computing, and holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University in Organization, Technology and Entrepreneurship. Before academia, he worked at the Singapore Trade Development Board and interned at Chartered Industries of Singapore and Apple Computer.

He chairs the NUS Teaching Academy and serves on several university committees, including NUS Overseas Colleges, Outstanding Undergraduate Research, and Departmental Ethics Review. He is also on the editorial boards of MIS Quarterly and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, and has held leadership roles in major conferences such as ICIS, ECIS, and PACIS. His contributions include serving as Associate Editor and reviewer for top journals in information systems and technology management.
