Dr. Tay Swee Kiat
Lecturer
Swee Kiat (SK) currently serves as a Lecturer at the Acacia College, NUS and a Senior Research Fellow at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Policy, NUS. He obtained his MA & PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, and his B(Comms) from NTU.
After completing his undergraduate studies, SK accumulated nearly a decade of research and consultancy experience working in MNCs and government agencies such as Gallup, Market Probe and A*STAR, before deciding to return to school.
His research interests revolves around media psychology, motivated reasoning, and media effects, such as the impact of AI on society and individuals. He has previously taught courses on Social Psychology of New Media, Strategic and Global Communication, and other mass communication courses.
