Dr Park Mihi

Dr. Park joined the National University of Singapore in 2008. She holds an M.A. in Korean Linguistics and Literature and a PhD in Linguistics from NUS, with a focus on multilingualism, third language acquisition, and psycholinguistics. Her research explores language learning in multilinguals, including language transfer, cognitive development, and late bilingualism. As an affiliated faculty member at the Institute for Application of Learning Science and Educational Technology, she leads interdisciplinary research integrating learning science and data science.

A founding member of the Korean language programme at NUS, Dr. Park has extensive experience in teaching Korean as a second language, developing curricula, materials, and assessments. As programme coordinator, she also trains instructors in pedagogy and classroom management. She teaches Korean from novice to advanced levels in both online and in-person settings.
